About the Photographer
Marilyn Scavo is a professional photographer and entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in photography, photo editing, makeup, and photography education.
Before 2010, Marilyn spent 10 years as an elementary, middle school, and high school art and photography teacher. Marilyn’s educational background includes a degree in art education and specializations in photography and makeup. Her education also includes extensive studies of architecture and interior design.
Her company Boudoir Photo Pros, specializes in capturing tasteful and sensual portraits of women, men, couples, brides-to-be, mothers-to-be, fitness models, and artistic nude photography. Marilyn transforms her clients on the outside using mastered techniques such as professional makeup, styling, posing, lighting, and angles. After her clients see themselves through Marilyn’s eyes, they are also transformed on the inside. She helps raise self-esteem and confidence in every shoot, hence her trademarked catchphrase "GET SEXY", because we don't always just wake up feeling sexy, sometimes we have to Get ourselves Sexy!
Marilyn has also owned and operated Corporate Photos Pros. offering services such as Commercial & Corporate Photography, Headshot Photography, Corporate Event Photography, Property Photography, Architectural Photography, Aerial & Drone Photography & Time-Lapse Photography.
After a successful photography career, Marilyn now coaches other people to achieve the same accomplishment with her company Photo Workshops. She has developed a series of beginner and intermediate photography workshops. She offers advanced private classes where she works with photographers to help develop their style, perfect editing, and produce effective studio environments.
Marilyn specializes in creating welcoming and confident imagery to positively influence how her clients are perceived in all her fortes.
